WILD is quite different from most foods in our range because its ingredient percentages are declared after dehydration.
This matters. Fresh meat contains substantial water, so percentages quoted before processing can make meat content appear considerably higher than it ultimately is in the finished dry food.
WILD's Surf & Turf recipe contains a genuine 80% dehydrated animal ingredient content immediately before cold pressing: 30% beef, 30% wild-caught blue whiting, 17% free-run chicken, 2% chicken liver and 1% whole egg.
The remaining 20% contains sunflower oil, carrot, sweet potato, kelp, spinach, chia seeds, pumpkin, apple and blackcurrant, plus a small botanical blend containing ingredients including oregano, chicory root, ginger, turmeric, broccoli, green-lipped mussel and a probiotic.
The result is an exceptionally concentrated food providing 51% protein and 19% fat.
